DECISION TO DECISIONS ARE MADE and not bought, but i thought this wouldn't hurt a lot - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - I GUESS NOT "come on, pumpkin, it's time to wake up." it was early in the morning, much too early for his eighteen month old daughter to be awake, but chris really didn't have much of a choice. he had a job to do, after all, and when it came to money chris wasn't about to turn down any jobs. it wasn't as though he was struggling to keep himself and his daughter fed and clothed with a roof over their head, it was more the fact he didn't have much extra money lying around and frankly, he thought it would be nice to have a few extra dollars to do with as he pleased. he could think of tons of things he could put it towards: a new toy or two for erin, a dinner out with some friends or that girl he'd been flirting with at his day job, a slightly bigger paycheck for his babysitter, a pack of cigarettes he'd been dying for recently, some new clothes for his daughter since he had noticed some of her things were getting worn...there was so much he could do, so much, and it was killing him that he wasn't able to do it. he had accepted the job because he knew that he would be paid quite a bit of money for it and that was enough to seal the deal. "come on, erin." he said again, giving his daughter the smallest shake he could. "you gotta get up; you're going to go see miss alex today and she's pretty stoked about it." erin was finally showing signs of waking up and chris leaned down to give the little girl a kiss on her cheek as he went to pick her up. it wouldn't take him long to get her ready; he was such a damn pro now when it came to dressing the girl. that usually happened when you were a single parent. it didn't take long for chris to have erin dressed and fed and ready to go and before he knew it, he had his coffee in one hand and his little girl's in the other, walking out of the door of his apartment to start his day.
the trip to alex's was easy, just like it always was, even with the god awful kid music his mother had given him for erin's birthday. as annoying as it was, it was worth it to hear erin trying to sing along and being a happy baby. that's all he really wanted for her: to be happy. it had been killing him recently whenever he went to drop her up from alex's or day care to see her get all upset when he left. he didn't like seeing her cry, but in order for him to be there for her he had to do this. after a teary goodbye on erin's part and a big hug from her daddy, he was off to work, the radio blaring whatever was on the local station, sipping his coffee and bracing himself for what lay ahead.
to be honest, chris wasn't quite sure what the hell he had signed up for with this photoshoot. it was supposed to be some artistic bullshit for some ad he wasn't too sure about...and from what he had understood, it was going to be nude. just what he needed first thing in the morning: a bunch of naked girls running around bitching about it being too cold or him staring at them for too long. he hated being around models; they found an excuse to complain about everything and in his usual exhausted, frustrated mind set he absolutely had no patience for that kind of behavior. he had a kid who bitched and moaned about everything; he didn't need grown women doing it too. once he was at the shoot's location, he made his way to the director, listening to what he had to say about the whole thing before finally being able to go and set his things up. hopefully things would go smoothly and he would get the money he was promised; that's all that mattered right now for the twenty one year old. he was absorbed in his work; getting his camera ready was in art to him and he wanted everything to be perfect. however, he caught site of a pretty blonde girl who looked awfully familiar. he wasn't sure if it was who he thought it was...to chris, most blondes looked the same. but there was something about the shape of her body, the color of her hair, the way she moved that just seemed way too familiar to the photographer and he could feel his breath hitch in his throat. god help him now if that was lorelei. he wasn't exactly sure what he was going to do if erin's mother appeared on the scene all of the sudden. a year and a half ago, she had made it very clear that she did not want to have any part of his or erin's life again and chris was perfectly fine with that. after all, she was always on some sort of drug when he saw her and she just...didn't seem like a very responsible person who he would get along with in the long run. it was so much easier in his mind, so much easier, to just not have the woman involved in his small family's life. but if she was here, in front of him...chris wasn't so sure if he even had the capability to look at her, let alone treat her with an ounce of respect.
THIS POST IS FOR KT AND IT'S 943 WORDS AND IT KINDA SUCKS BUT IDK I LIKE CHRIS. HE'S A CUTE DADDY.

HOW STUBBORN ARE THE SCARS W H E N T H E Y W O N ' T F A D E A W A Y ? tired blue eyes looked at the reflection in the mirror, noticing the loose, flowing glow locks that drifted to her mid chest, styled so that it looked and fell naturally against her pale skin. however, the girl staring into the mirror found no beauty in them; in fact, the more she looked at the person in the mirror, the more disgusted she felt. she quickly averted her eyes from the reflection, letting them fall to her hands, which were nestled in her lap, twitching slightly. lorelei was on edge, seeing as she had been fighting to be clean for about three weeks now. it was really hard; in all honesty. she coped with the withdrawals the best she could, filling her time with other things, like obsessive cleaning or even baking. she didn't know how she was going to fix herself so that she could see the daughter she knew was out there somewhere, but what she did know was that it had to be done. no longer could she let the drugs run her life, keeping her from what was supposed to be her family. as her mind skipped over the image of a man with a child in his arms, her eyes squeezed shut, hating the thoughts that came to mind whenever she allowed herself to think of them. they don't need you; they're better off without you. you're just like your whore mother; you're bound to fail just as she did the voices in her head hissed at her, causing the tiny blonde to curl up in her chair, bringing her knees to her chest for support. she didn't know how long it was before someone tapped on her shoulder, asking if she was alright. lorelei quickly wiped the tears away before looking up at the person and nodding. she was fine; she didn't need help from anyone. and before the person could ask her what was wrong, she got up, wrapping her arms around her waist, her fingers digging into the robe's material. she winced at the pressure in her sides but pushed the pain out of her head before looking around the set and sighing. this wasn't her first shoot; nor was it her first nude shoot. and that didn't bother her either; she was used the scandelous shoots now, not caring what people thought of her for taking part in them. she did them for money, and money only. so far, she'd saved up quite a bit - seeing as drugs were no longer on her tab - and she was getting ready to move on with her life, somewhat accepting that she would never see her daughter again. it pained her to accept that, but she knew that her father would die before he let the horrible, drug ridden woman who he had grown to hate anywhere near the child. and besides, even if she could somehow manage to clean up so that she wasn't as unappealing to him, there was no way she would find him. he could be anywhere in the world; trying so hard to hide the most precious gift he had from her. a gift that she had so willingly given away a year and a half ago.
deep in thought, lorelei let time get away from her, only to be brought back to harsh reality when the director walked up behind her, whispering how sexy she would look up there, posing in the nude. granted, they had slept together a few times; but he somewhat disgusted her. but whatever it took to keep a roof over her head, right? she put on a fake smile and nodded at him before watching him walk off, to speak to who she guessed was the photographer. she felt her nerves tense up as she walked onto the set, hating how everyone seemed to stare at her, whispering the rumors that were so obviously true. look at her, she's totally fucking the director. she's not even that pretty. what a whore, i bet she's fucking the photographer too. lorelei squeezed her eyes shut once more before ignoring them all, and untying the robe, letting it slip to the ground. her body was nothing to her anymore; just another use of persuasion, if that. but as she settled into her first pose, she noticed the photographer standing there, almost frozen. she felt a irrational spike of anger go through her as she crossed her arms against her chest, a scowl on her lips. "Something the problem?" she growled, narrowing her eyes partially because she was angry, and also because the lights on set were blinding her. she waited a few minutes before rolling her eyes and then going back into her first position, her eyes just now adjusting to the intense lighting. as soon as she could see past the huge, mega watt lights, she immediately looked at the photographer, wondering what moron was behind the camera. but as she caught site of the photographer, her eyes widened and her mouth dropped. oh my god. for a minute, she couldn't even speak; too surprised to even speak. "c-chris?" she stuttered, just then remembering she was naked. a bright pink color automatically rushed to her cheeks as she rushed over to her robe, quickly wrapping it around her. there was no way in hell she was going to be nude around chris. for a multitude of reasons. all the blonde could do was stare like a deer in the head lights, at the man who was the father of her child. she blushed again as she tried to speak, opening her mouth before shutting it a few times, obviously having a hard time speaking. "w-what are you d-doing h-here?" she stuttered, hating how people began to stare at both her and chris amoung hearing the girl's complete and total lack of eloquence. which was odd, because she was always the one who could charm anyone into doing what she wanted, using her ability to smooth talk. however, that ability went out the window as soon as she realized he was here.
as she waited for some kind of answer, she winced at the director's complaints about not shooting. but she stood her ground, not willing to drop the robe that she clutched so desperately around herself. she bit her lip, shaking her head at him before looking back over at chris. "i c-can't.." she said, her voice quiet and shaky. lorelei then turned and nearly ran walked offset, not able to look at christopher hawkins any longer. again, for a multitude of reasons. she tensed up when she heard the director to tell chris to 'straighten it out' with her and panicked, trying her hardest not to run out of the building. quickly, she tied her robe as tight as she could before brushing her hair out of her face, hating how she would have to finally face him after hiding from him for so long. it was for his own good though; he didn't need a girl like her around... but as she heard movement, she took a few deep breaths, her hands once again wrapping around her waist. this was it; she had to face him, and there was no turning back now. she bit down on her lip, slightly cowering when she saw his shape come up to her, hating how much he repelled her but attracted her at the same time. after all this time, it seemed like the boy she hid from still had quite an affect on her. HI THIS IS KATIE AND THIS POST IS FOR SUNNY AS CHRIS. IT HAS AROUND 1258 WORDS IN IT, HOPE THAT'S GOOD ENOUGH FOR YEW. LORELEI IS CURRENTLY WEARING A WHITE SATIN ROBE/NOTHING SO YEAH. IDK. BTW, ILY.
